banana carob chip muffins recipe
ingredients.
- (1½) cups self-rising flour
- (1) ripe banana, mashed
- (1) tbsp honey
- (1) egg
- (¾) cup water
- (⅓) cup carob chips
directions.
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
- In a large bowl, combine mashed banana, egg, honey and water — mix well until combined
- Add flour to wet mixture and stir until the dough comes together (it will be a bit sticky)
- Add carob chips into muffin dough and mix until evenly incorporated
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the muffin dough into a greased muffin pan (should yield about 9)
- Bake muffins for 25 minutes, or until dough has risen and browned on the outside and when a toothpick is inserted, comes out clean
- Cool before serving to your pup, can be stored in an air-tight container, refrigerated, for up to 1 week
