Banana Carob Chip Muffin


  • (1½) cups self-rising flour
  • (1) ripe banana, mashed
  • (1) tbsp honey
  • (1) egg
  • (¾) cup water
  • (⅓) cup carob chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF
  2. In a large bowl, combine mashed banana, egg, honey and water — mix well until combined
  3. Add flour to wet mixture and stir until the dough comes together (it will be a bit sticky)
  4. Add carob chips into muffin dough and mix until evenly incorporated
  5. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the muffin dough into a greased muffin pan (should yield about 9)
  6. Bake muffins for 25 minutes, or until dough has risen and browned on the outside and when a toothpick is inserted, comes out clean
  7. Cool before serving to your pup, can be stored in an air-tight container, refrigerated, for up to 1 week
