chocolate, basil, brie panini recipe

- (2) slices sourdough bread
- (2) oz brie cheese — I used a goats milk variation
- (¼) cup mini chocolate chips — can use less, or more, to taste
- (5) basil leaves, chopped
- (2) tbsp butter, divided
directions.
- Preheat a panini press to high heat while you prepare the sandwich (if you don’t have a panini press, you can heat a pan over the stove on medium heat while you prep)
- Spread the brie cheese evenly on one slice of the sourdough bread
- Add the chocolate chips and chopped basil leaves evenly over brie cheese
- Close the sandwich with the other slice of sourdough bread and set aside until ready for pressing
- When ready to press the panini, melt 1 tablespoon on each half of the press
- Place sandwich on press and close, grill for 10 minutes until cheese and chocolate has melted and bread is golden brown
