- (1½) cups milk, divided
- (¼) cup flour
- (½) tsp salt
- (¼) tsp pepper
- (6) oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- (2) tbsp sriracha hot sauce
- (1) bag tortilla chips
directions.
- Place large sauce pan over medium heat
- Combine half of the milk with the flour in the saucepan and whisk
- Stir in the other half of the milk and bring to a boil, stirring frequently
- Reduce heat to low and simmer mixture until thickened, stirring constantly (about 2 minutes)
- Remove the pan from the heat and add salt, pepper and cheese
- Stir until cheese melts
- Add sriracha hot sauce and stir until evenly combined
- Pour warm cheese into a bowl for dipping or pour over a plate of tortilla chips for picking
